1. When was the American Revolution; and, when was the Boston Tea Party?

--> The American Revolution took place between 1765 and 1783. The war exactly broke out on April 19th, 1775. The Boston Tea Party took place on the night of December 16th, 1773.

--> The website below gives an excellent walk through in terms of analyzing GIS data. This ESRI backed website provides us with the map that has a list of basically everything at Boston, around the American Revolution and the Boston Tea Party era. This specific map records the year of 1775 at Boston.

5. Man-made Structures; what were the most important structures in Boston at the time of American Revolution and the Boston Tea Party?

--> According to this map, there is a part that reads: "Notes About the Features on the Map." This part tells us that there were exactly 124 buildings that were notable enough to be in a map. All of them are listed in the map and can be found in the right hand side of the entire image. The map denotes important contents of the map in different colors. Those categories are: buildings, streets, bridges, docks, wharfs, fens, fields, open areas, ropewalks, salt fens, and squares. Some notable man-made, artificial structures are listed as followings: Taverns, Concert Hall, Fanueil Hall, Meeting House, Gov. Winthrop's House, Green Barracks, Inns, shipyards, Northwest Water Mill, Trinity Church, and many more. Ships were also one of the essential artificial elements in Boston during the era.

6. Natural Structures; what were the most important natural (not man-made) structures in Boston at the time of American Revolution and the Boston Tea Party?

--> According to this map, there is a part that reads: "Notes About the Features on the Map." This part tells us that there were multiple historic locations and other named areas that were notable enough to be on a map; and the list of those sites can be found in the right hand side of the entire image. The map denotes important contents of the map in different colors. Those categories are: buildings, streets, bridges, docks, wharfs, fens, fields, open areas, ropewalks, salt fens, and squares. Some notable natural structures are listed as followings: Beacon Hill, Brattle Square, Boston Stone, Barton Point, Liberty Tree, Adam's Wharf, Griffin's Wharf (SITE OF THE BOSTON TEA PARTY), and many more.
