Class 4 Assignment 6b: Subscribing to Twitter Lists

Twitter's help section defines a list as "a groups of curated Twitter users." Any Twitter users can create his/her own list, or choose to become an audience of a certain list by subscribing to it. Twitter also notes that lists are only used for reading tweets only.

Twitter help section that helped me understand what exactly a list is

Searching on Google for how to search lists on Twitter; as a result, I was able to reach this webpage that showed me how to do so.

Screenshot of a Twitter list named the Social Media Influencers. I found this list by searching for a key word: Google Glass

The attached screenshot shows a list named the Social Media Influencers. I have reached this list through Twitter, by searching the word Google Glass on the search bar. Then, when the search results came out, I clicked on the timeline menu of the search narrowing toolbar. I believe social media has a great contemporary relevance to the technological world we live in, while the material itself has high pertinence to the immersive world we are focusing throughout the entire course.

This is an assignment from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Collaborative Computing. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc
